Bye bye C-HR
Bye bye C-HR
Today I got completely rid of my (stolen) C-HR. I got the insurance payment and (sorry to say) no Toyota for me anymore.
I am pissed with recalls, faults, cheap scratched plastics, Toyota attitude, service.
I came from Hyundai and Kia and never thought I will be so dissapointed by Toyota.
I want to thank everyone in this forum for the help. I hope I did my best to help back.
Thank you guys. Drive safe.

Fare-thee-well, and thanks for your contributions to this forum.
Just to put a counter-balance I have had no trouble at all with recalls, faults, scratched plastic or service. Lucky me maybe?!

FWIW, I did the same for similar reasons. I’d had a succession of Toyotas- including Yaris and several RAV4. The chr experience was by far the worst- maybe being an early adopter didn’t help....though that doesn’t explain the deterioration in my dealer experience. I now happily live with a Kia Niro PHEV. Much better value for money. Higher spec, better build quality, no recalls and better mpg.
Thank you for your input here. Always worth reading.
I was tempted, in theory, by the 2 litre chr, but after keeping an eye on this forum there is no way.

Probably by the key signal booster that it's sold from the internet. I was surprised seeing a Russian web site to sell these things.
I guess, they came to my door and with a booster sent the key signal to the second guy next to my car.
It happen in daylight and in a 20 minutes time frame before me and my wife leave to work.
It's a major Toyota fault that after car starts, there is no need for the key to be close. Once the car is on, you can leave without key.

Correct @Squadrone Rosso. I had handbrake cap, gas tank, and a wire related.
I had more visits to the dealer with faults and multimedia software related problems.
