I'm sure standards changed. The 1.8 C-hr was advertised at up to 73mpg or thereabouts. I'm sure they changed the way the fuel economy is calculated to be more like real world driving and less perfect test conditions.

Took a quote with big pics from other forum..

At first sight, the sharp lines on the outside are almost gone. Something that makes it less "transformer" anymore.
The LED DRL in the headlights are much smoother too (for those who have the LED package) so afterall.. im happy to own the ´older´ one that really stands out and have that sharp, love-it-or-hate-it look.

I must admit I am struggling to see the changes in styling.
Improved head unit looks good, but I was hoping for more clear info about the improved battery.
Plug in hybrid would be nice - maybe later.
All the best
Loving driving my C-HR Excel Hybrid in Metal Stream :P

Just trying to spec a 2020 car. Seems to me that the Design and Excel come with black wheels as standard, and the dynamic dark grey. Hmmmm! Would rather a wheel not completely black.

Also the Excel comes with a "silver deco line". Wonder what that is?

The dynamic also has " dynamic fabric". Does that mean fabric seat covers rather than leather as in the Excel?

I also noted the Dynamic was only £140 more expensive than the Excel!

Maybe I am not interpreting all this correctly? But at the moment I can't find the model that really suits me. But I would like the larger engine.

The Corolla with pano roof and black/silver alloys ticks most of the boxes, but I do love the C-HR!
