front passenger sensor faulty in hot weather

Post by NON109 » Mon Jun 24, 2019 2:20 pm

I have a CHR Luna Sport, with parking sensors fitted by the dealer. The sensor at the front passenger side is faulty. It beeps and illuminates randomly, but only in hot/sunny weather. Took it to my dealer a few weeks ago with a video clip and photos of the issue but they could not find a fault so they replaced the whole unit. Problem has not been solved as it's 19 degrees today and the sensor is going bonkers. It is driving me nuts.

Could this have anything to do with the number plate.
See this

Maybe try removing the plate temporarily to see if it makes a difference
