Passenger Airbag Light

Post by series60nokia » Sun Jun 09, 2019 2:00 pm

Hi,

I have noticed my passenger airbag light stays on, on the side of the touch 2 go. It goes off after the other system checks but sometimes takes around 1 min. It's this normal?
Not a big problem but just wondered if any others have this happen as well?

Thanks

Yes, thats normal. Also if someone is in the back. If something is really not OK your car will making beep-beep-beep sounds when you start driving.

Hi all,

Just to let you know when Halfords fitted my Dash Cams they tapped into the accesary fuse and run some cables. On comet ion I had Airbag warning lights on.
Apparantley this is common. To reset, turn the engine off and lock car. Reopen car and start engine, turn steering wheel full lock right then left and back to centre.
Turn car off and on again as above and the warning lights should clear.
I hope this helps anyone out should you encounter this problem.
