Just back from the dealers and they just got a valet guy to hand polish both lenses and as the guy was walking away oner of them started to do the same.
That should be a no go,
Every time they get polished, plastic will get thinner,
If they start doing that now, then when they start getting yellow due to sunburn you'll have to polish again in a few years (as it happens with all the headlights independent of car brands since they started using plastic headlights) .
You can't polish them many times until you can't.

I have noticed the same clouding on the headlights when in the sun. Oh dear! Will mention next time in the dealership (same one as Toyota Fan uses).
Our Toyota family consists of C-HR Excel Hybrid in black, Toyota IQ, Toyota GT86.

when you do go in to get it done state that your not the first to them then hopefully it'll be looked into rather than replace then it happens again, atleast I wasn't the only one as I was worried I was.
