New windscreen

Had a new windscreen fitted this week.

Anyone know what this weird line is. Drivers side.

It looks like the DAB aerial on the pre 2020 model.
2020 (20) Excel 1.8 Hybrid, Decuma Grey (I like this colour 🙂).
2017 (67) Excel 1.8 Hybrid, SUV Pack, Decuma Grey.

DAB antenna.
Metalstream Excel 2018. Mud flaps, dash cam, Bumper corner protection, chrome boot and sill protectors, door handle protection film, Smoked Toyota wind deflectors, Spare wheel kit.
Bike - 2018 Honda Forza 300, touring screen, top box and Puig handguards.

I’ve got a 2020 model. Do you think they’ve just used the screen they had? It’s a little but annoying.

Depends if they’ve moved the DAB antenna into the sharks fin? If not, you must have had it on the old screen?

Who fitted your windscreen? I would think you have an argument that they fitted the wrong one.

National Windscreens fitted it. I either put up with it, I had to leave the car 4 hours so had to get a lift there and back, 40 mins each way, or scratch it off with a blade. It’s pretty high up the screen to be fair. Not that visible.

4 hours? Did technology change? I remember it was at least a day for the glue to settle

Apparently they need to recalibrate the cameras. And they can’t do it at your home, you have to take it to them.

Has anyone had the screen replaced?

Yes, when they first came out there was a spate of windscreens cracking at the top left, i got mine replaced under warranty at the main dealer.
