Pointless. Just turn your fobs off.

Was already discussed a lot - search.php?keywords=Faraday

Purely a matter of preference. If you're used to one method or another, then go for either. If you're new to keyless, faraday is useless - you can get used to much more convenient solution to turn off key fob signal.

Did you check the manual?

You can also stop the car from looking for the signal and responding to it. From memory it's under Settings>Vehicle>Vehicle customisation on the Touch 2 screen..... then toggle the start/stop system option to off.
It's worth checking that the pouch works with your model of car. Today I picked up our shiny new Dynamic and the pouch that worked fine for the 2018 c-hr no longer seems to block the signal from the keys of the new model. I'm going to have a proper play tomorrow, but for now have turned keyless entry off.

I think you have it the wrong way around! If the fob is turned off its saving the battery, the fob is not sending out a signal for the car to pick up. Just press a couple of buttons when you store the fob away at home.
