Crashed my car

Post by Dommer » Wed Dec 23, 2020 8:45 pm

So, crashed my car in Saturday. Drove into the back of someone in a car park while looking for a space. Needs a new bumper and bonnet. Completely my fault. At least it’s a company car.

Now have a brand new Prius hire car. I nearly chose one instead of the CHR, but I’m glad I didn’t. It has wireless phone charging which is cool, also has HUD.

No CarPlay, which is rubbish. Only has 2 stage heated seats, weirdest thing of all is the foot operated hand brake! In a modern car. How strange.

Sorry to hear that, didn't the automatic braking work?

It did help but I think I was too close for it to work properly. No complaints, I was to blame. You live and learn.

Make sure you have it fixed at a reputable garage that understands the safety sense system as they will need to be very carefully calibrated to work properly afterwards
