We went in to buy one of these this afternoon in place of our Limited Edition 1.8.

Came away after ordering a top spec RAV4 due to the fact the re-located battery has ruined the boot space :(

Shame as loved the looks, the additional performance & the upgraded infotainment.

Around 6 month wait for the RAV so still C-HRing until June.

Just got the email saying its in transit from Adapazari, Turkey, anyone have any idea how long that takes (I assume by sea?), tried to find out on line but nothing comes up?

Anyone prepared to reveal what discounts they got for ordering an Orange? I’m sorely tempted but so far they’ve only offered the protection plus pack.

Hi,

I got a really good quote from AutoeBid for an orange edition.

Has anyone actually used AutoeBid to but a car? Are they legit?

Thanks for any feedback...

Yes, I have. I bought my CHR from then in November 2018. They normally ship orders out through lease companies and then to Toyota dealers, no problems at all my end. UK car with all paperwork and full warranty and you are first owner and in the case of the Orange £4k better off.

Thanks smartly I think I will proceed with the purchase!

I noticed during my test drive yesterday that the DAB aerial is no longer in the front windscreen. Hopefully they put it in the shark fin with an amplifier and it has better reception?? My wifes Yaris gets LBC where we live but my C-HR is dreadful as it cuts in and out and goes on reduced volume!
Can anyone say if reception is better in the 2020 C-HR?

Quick updates:
- car still draws all the attention possible! Best one was an old lady struggling to get out of her car to make sure it didn't touch it. And she kept looking at the car
- now that is warm'ish, read Irish "hot", fuel consumption is 5.5l/100km. With this light traffic and very few km...
- automatic parking is still something my wife doesn't want to hear about! Although it's much much better in this one. Engaging it it's still confusing and hard to remember.
- weak spot - tires! Not enough traction on dry for that engine!
- sound system is a step ahead! Acoustic is different and it asks for decent sound source (read highest quality when streaming from phone at the expense of more data)
- blind spot monitor should be mandatory on all cars!
