Tyre wear and beeping.

17000 miles.
Just had second service (on service plan so no pain in one bill)
VERY disappointed with the original Michelin tyres wear, advised to get two new front tyres already at £200 per tyre.
Just ordinary driving.
Had a Rav 4 for ten years and the tyre wear on that was far better than this.
Personally I think that two tyres in that mileage is poor return.
Regarding bleeps at odd times, apparently the two front sensors, either side of the number plate may have been responsible as the plate was low and the sensors reacting to that.
Numberplate replaced, drove off after service and within 100 yards, bleeped again for no apparent reason at all so, who knows what the sensors are picking up.would be interested if anybody gets to the bottom of this apparent problem previously discussed on the forum.
Puddle lights replaced again, lets hope Toyota get to the bottom of this faulty problem.

Tyre wear sounds bad! It's way too soon! Granted, they are a noisy model. But to wear too much in 17k miles...
Beeping...there are plenty of users here complaining about the same problem, all with UK license plates. It does seems like Toyota didn't do a good job with UK plates. With IE licence plate it doesn't have the same problem.
