I got a garmin dashcam 55, and Put it next to the rearview mirror. I Put it on the drivers side so Im easily able to use the buttons on it, take it on or of. And to see the lcd If I need to.

I was advised to keep it off the patterned part of the glass so put mine here (Right hand drive)

Got Halfords to install my old Nextbase 512g to the rear window hardwired piggy back to rear wipe fuse
And brand new Nextbase 412GW to front windscreen hard wired piggy back to cigarette lighter fuse.
Everything working well no Radio interference on DAB or anything else.
The guy said it was really easy to route the cables he did mention that the bolt near the fuse box didn't give a very good earth but managed one near to it.
Just for anyone's info hope this helps
