Regions

Post by Farawayhats » Sat Jan 12, 2019 12:16 pm

I am exploring all the things my C-HR can do. One of the things I am looking at is the pedestrian pre-collision prevention. The online manual has this entry......

Regions
Function availability
Region A
The pedestrian detection function is available
Region B
The pedestrian detection function is not available

However it doesn’t explain how to determine what region the car is from. Anyone got any idea how I find out ?

Mine never beeped for any pedestrian!
And I'm sure it's included here in Ireland.
But I learned, as this is my second hybrid, not to rely on pedestrians hearing the car. So I'm the one taking extra care, maybe more care than electronics can ;)

drabisan I know what you mean, car parks are a nightmare. I found very loud music with the windows open works 😉😉😉
