Might be worth some of you measuring how far in front of the car the dipped beans light up, then you can all do a compare.

Not an exact measure, but mine are 25-30 meters

Been wondering about this LED light issue ,
Out and about at night been watching my lights carefully ,and
This seems to be a issue with the auto level on these lights , over reacting .
They are totally fine then small dip or change in road makes them change self levelling to very close to front of car (short dip beam cut off).
Hard to explain but 99% sure this is problem , Am dreaming this ??.
Lights are bright enough .. So what now ?

After not getting much joy out of my local dealer I got in touch with Toyota UK and to be fair they have taken an interest in the headlight situation. They are coming on the 27th To take my car away and carry out road/workshop tests and measurements at night. Fingers crossed I get a resolution to the issue. Can I suggest you make contact with Toyota UK via their website and send an email if you have the same issue as the more who do may result in Toyota actually acknowledging there is a problem. The gentleman dealing with me at Toyota UK is Ryan Light.

I used to own a auris antill a few months ago, with the led headlights. as soon as you turn on the ignition you could see the lights calibrating (moving up and down once) plus they would react much faster to height differences keeping the lights at the same level.

Now if you would test it on a chr (turn on the lights, open the boot and try pushing the car down) you will see that it can easily take between 1-2 seconds before the leveling system start to react to the difference in height.
Plus the led bulbs in a chr or auris are slightly less bright then those of the competition, for example renault/peugeot etc.
