I have driven just 500km, but so far, it is really a "city" car...
Driving to work (20km little downhill) 2,9L/100km = 97,40 mpg (UK)
Driving back 4,1L/100km = 68,9 mpg (UK)
300km drive outside the city = 5 L/100km = 56,5 mpg

According to my C-HR trip computer, my average is 3.9lt/100km.
However, an application in my cell phone calculates it at 4.3lt/100km.
Who is right?

As I said earlier, I have had two hybrids before this one and all 3 have been consistently about 10% optimistic with the mpg (miles per gallon in my case). So if the phone app is using data based on mileage when the tank has just been filled then that one is the more accurate.
All the best

I live in Tenerife, at exactly 1,000 m over sea level. I use to have a consumption of 10 liters per 100km with my old Toyota Corolla Verso and with the C-HR I do about 5.6 l/100. I get much better results when driving on highway

I get a range of approx 800 km with a full tank.

We've had ours for 12 weeks and got 66mpg on a 300 mile journey and average about 60mpg around town

After 1000km my average is 5.4l/100km (43.56 mpg), mainly city traffic.
Not that impressed... Maybe I still have to learn how to properly drive a hybrid.

I had 5.7l/100 for first 1300km. Display showed 5.2 5.4 on first 2 fueling but i use spritmonitor and it calculated 5.67/100 on first fueling and 5.74/100 on second. This data includes partly motorway driving at 140-160km/h.
I heard it will get better after few thousand kms.

It varies enormously, dependent on how heavy your right foot is, plus it seems far more economical in town driving than longer distance; I guess the hybrid elements are working more and EV mode is used far more.
I have achieved over 95mpg on a short journey but with a very very light foot..............worst I have had is 60mpg.
Very pleased so far, but only 1400 miles covered to date.

We’ve had ours about 5 months and we’ve done 4000 miles it averages 59 mpg on short runs and we have had 66mpg on a long run driving steady we can’t really fault the car at all

I have a relatively lioght foot and try and drive economically and so far over the last 1000 miles of mixed motoring have achieved 65.4 mpg.
I'm not unhappy.
Best over a short trip was over 90..............
