I can't understand this as the stock levels say something different especially as you have no extras

Driving up the M5 and M6 today I passed 3 car transporters loaded with C-HRs. They must have just had a shipment arrive. Hope mine was on it!

I picked mine up at the weekend. No pictures as yet, because as soon as it was taken out of the showroom and on to the forecourt, the heavens opened and it stayed like that for the rest of the day. I will get some pictures at the weekend hopefully.
On the question of why the long wait times ... I was told that it was down to the battery manufacturer. It was suggested to me that they're producing the batteries at their own pace. Their supply isn't meeting Toyota's demand. Of course that could be for a number of reasons itself ... raw materials sprung to my mind when it was initially suggested to me.
I don't know if any other reasons have been given to others.

The beast is finally here. Picked it up today. Not the best weather for it as it was absolutely bucketing down on the way home, which made me doubly nervous.

At least you have learned how to use the windscreen wipers and demisting.
We look forward to you answering many of the questions asked previously.
It looks really smart. Enjoy it.

Thank you. I really like driving it. It is my first automatic car, so it's steep learning curve for me. 👍

As there were wipers mentioned, beware - this one doesn't have low washer fluid warning. Many were surprised by that (me included). AFAIK only Baltic region models, that have LED headlight washers have this warning.

Oh that I'm surprised. Thank you for making me aware of this.

Not really a learning curve at all! It's just one gear 😋
In a couple of weeks you'll ask yourself why you changed gears for so many years?
