I don’t understand how the seat can be too high for an adult.

And I don’t like that lifting the seat moves the seat closer to the steering wheel. Why doesn't the seat just rise ?!

I don't have any issues with driving position or reach, although a bit more thigh support would have been good, just the seat base which is not wide enough for my bum.
I am not a small bloke but neither is my bum vast and I do have to wonder how a Sumo wrestler would cope!
The car otherwise is acceptably competent without being outstanding in any one area.
After many years of brand loyalty, I hate to say it but my next car will probably not be a Toyota.

I am sure that my next car is not a Toyota. In C-HR, too many things are hardly acceptable.
For example, my next car could be a VW ID.3 ...?

Seat too high ?? I am 6ft2, 200 pounds, and although the seats for sure not the very best, they're decent and not too high. If you know my previous car was a GT86...... (those seats were too low, but heck so was the car...)

Depends what you compare them to! I had a Lexus before and seats were amazingly comfortable.
