Finally here :).... however.

Post by Danco » Thu Oct 11, 2018 7:24 am

And here it is two months ahead of schedule. Very happy and drives like a joy. But.....

Issue 1: - Dealer forgot to install accessories except carpets and boot liner.

Issue 2: - Glove compartment light won't come on.

It going back to the dealership early November for these adjustments.

Have previously had the Auris Mk1 with the 1.33 engine. Great upgrade.

Wife has the new Yaris. But joy of joys I really love this CHR. Parking is not difficult at all as I am used to using the camera on wife's yaris. Haven't managed to use the auto-park feature yet though. Is it good enough?

Congrats! If you know how to park, I'll bet you're faster than the car, autopark is great for women and hairdressers but not much use in daily practice....

Autopark also won't park in tight spaces you'd fit your car yourself

Just out of curiosity... What extras did they miss?
What did you order with the car?
Enjoy your new C-HR! :)

Not much actually - I added the scuff plates, front wind deflectors and rear bumper protector besides the trunk liner and rubber mats. Am actually more upset at the non functioning glove compartment light.

I can't agree with that, once you've used it a few times it is easy and straightforward to use and saves any hassle, just remember to keep a good lookout

Anyway Danco Congrats looks good

Excellent news!
I thought my interior ambient blue lights weren't working, or were not even there, until I crept out under the cover of darkness and caught them unawares...working away happily, if a little dim.

They only seem to come on in the dark too!
