Looking to get a CHR but I’m tall, any thoughts?

Post by Billg » Sun Sep 02, 2018 9:18 pm

Hi, I’m looking to get a CHR, I’ve test driven one for about 20 minutes, really impressed with it but there wasn’t loads of spare space in there as I’m 6 foot 4. It was comfortable but I couldn’t get a view of how comfortable it’s like to drive on a long run, say 2 hours. Any tall owners who can advise how practical and comfortable the car is? Thanks

Ask for a longer test drive?

I'm a shorthouse and find it a little uncomfortable on longer journey's in the knees and ankles as does my son who's the same height.

Hello I am 6’1 this car is the only vehicle I haven’t had to have the seat all the way back, done 2 return trips to southwest France with no discomfort.

I'm 6'3 and I find the car very comfortable, seat set at almost the highest and I still have headroom, although it's rather close to the grab handle above the driver door. But no complaints considering adjustability of the seat and lumbar support.

Thanks for the replies, I will contact the dealer to see if they can do an extended test drive, all being well I’ll be getting a CHR!

Worth remembering the passenger seat doesn't have height adjustment...assuming you might wish to travel as a co pilot it could be problematic
