Toyota Icon 1.8L C-HR Hybrid 2017

Post by danii » Thu Nov 19, 2020 9:14 am

Hi, I believe my car should have reversing sensor audio, is this correct? If so how do I switch it on as I currently have no sound when reversing the car.

Also, does anyone know if this model should have Sat Nav or the Google Maps/Android application available?

Appreciate the help thank you!

Hi,
As is know an audible reversing sound isn't fitted to any C-HR?
The Icon does not have satnav unless it has the Tech pack fitted. Android Auto isn't standard on pre 2020 models, there might be a possibility that this can be added by your Toyota dealer, check with them.

True, never seen a c-hr with that.
The only audible think is the bips from parking sensors,
Not needed on my opinion as there's parking sensors and rear camera

If you have sensors on bumper, you should have the audible beep. If no sensors, not beep. If you do have sensors, dealer can check volume for you.

Sat Nav also did not come with Icon spec. Just use a Garmin or Tom Tom system.
