low power to engine message

HI all I am a CHR newbie here,My 1.2 excel has a low power to engine message coming on only started yesterday it doesn't affect anything that i have noticed.Wondering if anyone has had same problem as my local Arnold Clark have no idea??Also not sure if this is related but the inside of the windscreen has started freezing as well

I think your engine is running in the Limp mode. So your dealer should know that. The minimum he can do is read out the board computer.

its not in limp mode and when he plugged it in no errors come up?? baffled by it !!(which is normal for Arnold Clark lol)

maybe duff battery or alternator ,new battery would be best place to start or get them to check it. just a thought
