Reverse camera

Post by Rosie2018 » Mon Oct 22, 2018 9:31 pm

Hi I've had my chr for 6 months and noticed yesterday that the rear camera now includes a distorted view of the top of the number plate. Almost as if the camera has dropped? Anyone else experienced this and is there a fix? Thanks

As far as I can remember I always saw a piece of the license plate.

Not seen this exactly but have noticed a distorted image if a drop of rainwater gets on the lens.
All the best

It's normal view. Because the plate/bk of car can be seen and close to lens you get a fisheye view. I think personally it's good as you can see how close to object from car you are.

Still can't understand how it can change from full screen to fisheye all on it's own. I personally prefer the full screen. Thanks for you comments.

Hi!

Check if your plate is completely flat. Mine has now some waves, due to hot days couple months ago and realized it shows on the camera!

Cheers
