Hi Guys,
My car has been faultless apart from today, got Engine Malfunction Light on, PCS warning light flashes, Master Warning Light and Hybrid System Malfunction and Pre Collision Failure, car runs fine so no issues car is booked in for the 8th January for first service, when they are all back think these malfunctions need to be sorted ASAP so might see if it can be serviced at the same time hope it's nothing too bad did use before Christmas the AA as I have Toyota Assistance hope it is nothing to do with the booster they used :S oh and the electronic brake does not engage itself but I can press it on/off myself.

I suppose that you left your light on and the battery (12 volts) was dead.
You called out the AA (way not Toyota) and they used a battery booster so you could start again.
When the battery is dead sometimes you need to initialize some systems. So you have maintenance 8th
January then they look after it. I don,t think that the booster did any harm.

i had the same when my battery went flat, faults and lights went off on their own , AA man came and the faults had cleared themselves ,Toyota said that it was nothing to worry about, hope it has nothing to do with booster pack either ,i was lucky and and the car started after leaving it for half hour it had enough juice to start ,, my merc has a special point to start it from, not the battery as it tends to fry the ecu

just read the manual and you can jump start the car so no problem there

Strange, a new car /batteries... and allready down, unable to start the car ??? Yellow lights on ?,??
Where are these batteries Made ? Or is Some extra light or what So ever connected wrong?
Recently read the battery was down of the Keyless remote!

Shouldn't car batteries last a few years
(Booster is An external battery to jumpstart the car right?)

Yes The AA (Automobile Association) use a battery booster which is handheld to give the 12 volt battery enough to power the car.

I see now. It's strange not to call Toyota, when you have few years of service on the road.
Anyway I hope Toyota_Fan sorts it out :)
In the UK, when you buy a new Toyota car you also get enrolled (for free) in the Toyota Assist service...which basically means if the car breaks down you call Toyota Assist and they send out the AA (one of the larger UK roadside assistance providers) to get you going again. If they can.

I thought Toyota had their own something :) I hope I'll never find out how it's done here :D

Went to the dealer 08:30 this morning and as they were quiet they asked if they could do service at same time, all done and it was due to 12 volt battery that those warnings would not reset so I have a new 12 volt under warranty but they could not do the health check for now until I've done 400 miles :D

very strange for a battery to die so quickly but not unheard of

Nissan Qashqais have had battery issues since 2012 I believe and the dealers seem clueless. I had RAC come out and check mine and his report showed it was an open diode in the alternator. Nissan couldn't give a damn, the dealers even less. had the car for a week to sort out a 30 minute job. Told them to shove the car (10mths old and only fault was sudden flat battery, and awful dealership, now closed down) and bought a C-HR instead :)

The car does seem to suffer poor ventilation and often feels stuffy if four up. Don't forget battery vent is under back OSR seat and is quite large and needs to be kept clear. I realised I had been covering with the blanket it because of the kids seats.
