Does any other C-HR's have a whistle coming from their wing mirror whilst driving?

When I drive over 40mph, I can hear the whistle sound which appears to be coming from the cut in the wing mirror.

It's not too bad but it's noticeable. I'm trying to work out if it's a fault or if it's simply due to the design of the folding wing mirror.

My local dealer say their test model does the same.

Cheers!

Hi All,

I experienced the same problem with my driver side mirror. Had an annoying whistle noise that was louder than the music playing in the car.
After sticking my hand out the window while driving around trying to find the culprit I have successfully found the problem with mine. There is a bigger gap between the mirror arm and the mirror on the drivers side than there is on the passenger side. My quick fix was to fold a piece of paper and stick it in the gap. Problem solved. No more wind noise. Hope this helps. Obviously have to look for a better solution.

Yes, I found that was the issue too. Toyota say it's a known fault and they have stuck some pads inside the wing mirror and the arm. Solved the problem.

Thank you so much for the info. I will try it out and let you know if it works as I've been having this annoying problem too.
This is not the solution. That was what Toyota did for my car and it didn't work. There is a TSB to replace some parts to fix this problem, please see the post "wind noise".
