What did you do with your C-HR today?

Every other forum I'm a member of has one of these threads as a sticky and it is well used with more posts than any other on the 5 x sites I frequent.

Cosmetic things mainly that make you feel good, from a wash, new tyre caps/accessories and wheels/tyres.

Can the Mods make it so? :D

As a first post I had Michelin CrossClimate+ XL tyres fitted today, and paid less than £450 all in (17 inch on my Icon) Plus I also get a free amazon Eco for buying 4! :)

Night and day difference and taking corners in the wet with these fitted and I realise what a wallowy old hector the Primacy 3's made the car feel like!

If/when I sell mine I'll put the original primacy 3's back on as the tyre size fits most nissan jukes and kumquat's, given that I've done 16k miles in 18 months and still have 6mm on the primacy 3's I should be able to sell the CC's for around £250 if they've the same

Activated the window opening / closing functions from the remote fob - which means tomorrow when I approach the vehicle I can open the windows & let all the hot air out first 😎

Give the car full valet, then very thorough wash and clean. Family got me Meguiars car kit for Xmas, and for some strange reason the paint on the car loves this stuff.
Like most on here we've all washed cars till the cows come home, but the condition and shine you get with this stuff is the best I've ever achieved, looks like I've driven it off the forecourt.ps now I'm nervously watching a flock of crows lining up a bombing run from the street opposite

My C-HR is 1.8 GR Sport with JBL, leather alcantara and drivers electric seat. I got the rust protection treatment last week.
Pictures before and after the treatment.

That looks a mess 😳
In this picture the anti-rust agent is still wet. When it get dry, it looks different, like solid coating and is mechanically durable but still flexible.

Does that effect the Toyota warranty?

No. This Dinitrol-protection is approvef by all car manufacturers atleast in Finland and in other northern countries, like Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

I must say the Toyota mudflaps are a doddle to fit & the fitting instructions make it even easier.

The set I bought from Fish Brothers had no fitting instructions, but pretty obvious how they fit.

The fitting instructions for accessories like this are available FOC from the Toyota website.

Fitted the footwell light kit today using the instructions from the link above - there are drilling templates in the instructions so pay attention to the page size when you print that page out!

Pretty easy to fit if your handy with tools, you do need automotive interior trim removal tools plus it takes a good few hours to fit working carefully & methodically.

Front dim to match the factory ambient lighting.

Front bright when you unlock / open the door.

Rear works exactly the same - heres a picture of the rear with door open so bright.

All pictures taken inside my garage so not fully dark, next time I'm out at night time Ill try & get some better pictures.

Do they stay illuminated when driving or dim slightly. Our last car had multi ambient lighting which was part of the trim upgrade thought it was a bit over the top. Does look smart mate must admit.ps finished at Physio today said our farewells, wife says should have bought her some chocolates as she worked miracles.🤔

They dim down to match the factory ambient lighting when the gear selector is moved from park.

Absolutely awesome!! How long did it take you for the whole installation? (ballpark)
About 6 hours but I was working carefully / methodically as I've never worked on a Toyota automotive product before.
