When driving home from work today, there was a "bing" and two teardrop shaped water droplets appeared on my multi-information display. It can't be telling me that the windscreen washer reservoir is empty as it was only filled up this morning. Can't find any reference to it in the user manual, so does anyone have any ideas what it could be?

The 2 droplet symbols only appeared yesterday and were accompanied by a "bing" when they showed up on the display.

i have these as well and just think its part of the page display but cannot be sure because i dont normally have it on this page

Looks to me like normal fuel use... What did you See in display before this showed up? Maybe you hit one of the buttons at the right of the steeringweel... ☺☺

I always drive with this display and have never really noticed them before until you've mentioned it. I regularly take pictures of the screen to keep an eye open on my fuel consumption, you'll find some on the MPG thread, and, checking back through the pictures, they are in every one!
I wonder if the sound you heard was related to something else as there are so many beeps and warnings.
