my c-hr icon will only play and show 255 mp3s , my usb stick has 488 tracks on it, it plays all 488 on my wifes nissan juke , but on my c-hr it only gives you access to 255, it will go thru all 255 then return to number one track , the rest cannot be seen, is this normal on TOYOTA s .

have you updated the software of the navi system as there a few fixes and patches in the latest one which may help ,its from the my toyota web site and will be free

The USB restrictions;
Max mapstructure; 8 levels
Max of maps in one device(USB stick); 999
Max files in one divice; 9999
Max files in one map; 255

Try separating files to folders where each wouldn't exceed 255 files limit

I have almost 2000 on my USB and they play fine, check out the recent topic "USB Folders",

Mine is also around 2000 songs and no problem with playback

I've got a 32gb stick in mine with 50 or so albums on it and no issues with playback. No idea if I've sorted them in the correct order but it all works

THANKS TO ALL REPLY'S the same USB stick plugs into a nissan duke and plays all 500 tracks.I WILL JUST HAVE TO LIMIT MY TRACKS TO 255 IN THE C-HR.

As said above, just create some folders on the stick and redistribute your songs over these folders.

A good chance that it will still work in your Nissan.
