Hi guys.

I have had my C-HR for 2 weeks and Internet has worked flawless. Today nothing works. I have checked everything (I think), - re-paired, - checked internet connectivity on the phone several times and all seems well. Gonna find another phone or a 4G modem to test with when I get home, - but I was wondering if all apps on Touch 2, - including Navigation, is using some Toyota 'server' for access ?

the obvious explanation would be 'my phone' ofc, - but I do not see anything wrong there. No apps blocking Mobile data either, - and the Touch 2 will respond happy that is has connected to Internet when setting it up, - but none of the apps ,- or Navigation, can connect.

That includes Weather, Aha and so on. Voice and Messages works fine ,- I even get notification of Emails arriving on the phone on the Touch 2.

is your car registered on the my Toyota web site ,multimedia device registered as well, page 233 Navi manual ,just a guess that the car may not be syncing with Toyota , worth a look

Still not sure if I have solved it, - but it is working now. Tried another phone, - and that connected and provided Internet just like that. Tried my first phone, first, no connection, tried an Iphone, worked just like that, then I tried my first phone again, Galaxy Note 8, which _then_ worked. No other changes has been made. Somehow the internet connection using an Iphone seems snapier than using my Android device though. Even though it wasn't obvious at first, - it must have been my phone acting up ,- and trying a secondary phone or 4G router with Wifi is a good thing.

I’ve just discovered that the car won’t connect via Bluetooth for music (fine for phone and internet) if I’m trying to charge it!! So relieved to have finally sussed this out as it was driving me nuts that my children could play music but I couldn’t. Hoping this may help others with the same problem. Happy Fri-yay!! 😁
