Wonder if anyone is having this issue that I experienced yesterday:

Was on a 4/5hr round trip with a friend. Used his iPhone for the media input, both through usb and bluetooth modes to see if it'd eradicate the problem. After a few minutes of playback the screen would become unresponsive - wouldn't increase or decrease the volume, go to any of the different onscreen pages (energy usage, phone etc) total lack of response until we held down the power button and did a reset in essence. That happened primarily on bluetooth but I think it needed resetting at least once on USB mode too. The other quirk on USB mode was if we turned the volume up or down using the car touch buttons it'd change the track...

Loving the car but the UI on the touch screen really is inferior to what I've had before. Sensitivity is poor even when it is working correctly. Shame as it spoils what is otherwise a gorgeous car.

You can adjust the sensitivity of the screen in the options menu.

Ofcourse this won't help for the system freezes.
Are you running the latest version on your Touch2 system?

Mine had to be restarted at the dealer because it also had lags and funny behavior. This car is being manufactured in Turkey. Seems like there is still a lot of issues and it's draining the brand's reputation... Gorgeous car but the UI is like it was made by a little child

I wonder if we can send an email (???) or something to Toyota to express our disappointment with multimedia/GPS system. There are a lot of issues.
Software problems (freezes, crappy mirrorling, poor synch with "my Toyota").
Country specific issues (mobile app not available, poor maps, traffic doesn't work etc)

We can make a poll with all related problems and send them an email to make clear our disappointment and demand our rights.
I want everything that I've been promised by the dealer, Toyota's brochures, web site, to be working.
We paid for these. We HAVE to have them working.

What do you think?
