What did I do to deserve this??
I counted 120 spats and they all appeared this morning. I've never seen anything like it.
Oh well - out with the bucket (sorry two buckets!)

Living half a mile from the sea for the last 15yrs I was used to having my cars (silver/blue and black) pebbledashed by seagulls who clearly had a massive dose of ex-lax the night before. :? :x

Weirdly my neighbours, with dark grey cars were left untouched, so I went for a Decuma Grey C-HR and am pleased to report that 3 months in my car has been left alone

Incidentally - something I had not anticipated. I recently bought myself one of that microfibre mitts for washing the car (always used sponge before). I used the hose to get most of the bird dirt off and then washed it with the mitt, and it left the car perfect (even in the sun) so no need to hose it down again after - just a quick wipe round with microfibre towell to remove the odd smear. Much quicker and no water spot marks. I am a fan of microfibre mitts now.
