Anybody updated their sat nav using a usb?

Easy if you do it right. But takes a long time (30+mins) so best done on a longer journey.

I do it regularly.

It does take some time but if you have to stop it for whatever reason, it starts up again where it left off. It takes me a few journeys but then I only do short journeys.

I can't do it over the air as I don't have enough data allowance to hotspot.

I updated mine via Wi Fi which took about 30 mins but will depend on your network speed, also in settings set it to auto update, ok as long as you are not data limited.
