Got my self a set of these to help me reach the roof when washing the car (Well that's what I told the wife). Not for everyone but I like them and that's all that matters.

I have a long handled Car brush that I attach my wash mits and chamoise to :) Even with those boards I'd never reach with my little legs.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/TOYOTA-RUNNING-BOARD-ACCESSORY-ONWARDS/dp/B071GLJWWB/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1498925431&sr=1-1&keywords=TOYOTA+C-HR+RUNNING+BOARD+STEP+BAR+SIDE+STEPS+BAR+BOARD+ACCESSORY+2016+ONWARDS
there are others on the amazon as well but be prepared to do some packing with washers on the outside bolt to make them fit under the plastic body kit as i didn't want to bend the brackets which line up perfectly underneath, that said it only cost an extra £2.50 for the washers
they also fit in between my mud flaps ok

would have taken 35 mins apart from having to get the washers from wickes which made it an hour , very easy to do as everything is designed to fit

Also you have to pull out 2 rubber cromets and 2 plastic trim clips each side .Just prize them out gently with a screwdriver and away you go

Look at the difference in colour of the car in the two pictures, both taken at the same time with the same camera settings
It's great isn't it!! I liked metal Stream from day 1. It's got that hint of a deeper colour (I'm hesitant to say gold) in the right light but equally looks better than silver when normal. Keep looking at the nebula blues with a bit of jealousy but oim sure we got the right one!!

Running boards! The main gist of this :). Quick question. Can you put full weight on them if needed? I'm err a little over 100kg!! Just curious

Cheers all

Yes they are supported by good strong brackets bolted to the chassis
