I went to set up the recently purchased genuine roof bars today & mate them with my existing roof box but encountered a problem 
The U fittings which fix the box to the bars aren't wide enough.
Anyone else had the same problem & more importantly, overcome it?
Needed in readiness for our trip to France in a few weeks time!
