If I have read this correctly then it sounds a lot of money to just start the engine for 15 minutes or until a door is opened, and is limited as to where you could use it as it is illegal in the UK to leave the engine running on the public highway when unattended.

Not bothered as I have heated seats that only take 30 seconds or so to warm up

I have heated seats but it don't take the frost inside the window

I send them Email and got back
What country was your CHR built? They were only released in the US in 2018

Are the CHR system 2017 / 2018 not the same ?

The most features are the samen but the big different is the US has no Hybrid system ( US 2.0 Litre, 4-Cylinder, DOHC, 16-Valve)

Not that bad this system...
For winters, even if you have heated Seats...Windows will be defrosted by the time you wanna go..
I had webasto before and loved it.. no need to turn on the Seat heater..
Unfortunately expensive,like over 1000€...

i can see it being useful in Iceland and the Netherlands but the UK at the moment has been having mild winters (final last words on the weather). :D
