You must just keep your key near power button very close and then press power. It's RF device with small range.

Dont know if this helps
Multidrive: Ensure that the shift lever is in P and depress the brake
pedal.
Manual transmission: Shift the shift lever to N and depress the
clutch pedal.
Touch the Toyota emblem side
of the electronic key to the
engine switch.
When the electronic key is
detected, a buzzer sounds and the
engine switch will turn to IGNITION
ON mode.
When the smart entry & start system
is deactivated in customization
setting, the engine switch will turn
to ACCESSORY mode.
Firmly depress the brake pedal (Multidrive) or clutch pedal (manual
transmission) and check that and messages are shown on
the multi-information display.
Press the engine switch.
In the event that the engine still cannot be started, contact any authorized
Toyota retailer or Toyota authorized repairer, or any reliable

No didnt work i think my alarm is dead.

Ive also noticed someone has crushed the air vent mountings at the base of the windscreen by mounting them on the wrong side of the panel. Instead of holding it on like a clip its now pushing it away. Explaining why its coming away from the screen and why i smell engine smells when i have the fan on. Theres gaps everywhere.

Do i qualify for a refund yet ha ha.

They spent an hour or two climbing all over my car but no luck.

Thanksfully they are going to send an email to the Oracle and they might know something ha ha.

I have a feeling this is related to the puff of magic smoke I smelt the other day as he said there was a 5a ecu fuse blown inside.

One mechanic said I know whats wrong the drivers a cock and hes fucked it. Probably jump started it. The parts guy says Il sell him 4 locks ha ha. The old wise one who is retiring says will you both shut up its new and under warranty.

Nice
