How are these supposed to function ? I usually only carry one rear passenger and these lights have a mind of their own. Sometimes they stay on for a whole two hour journey and I cant find any logic in when they go out. The passenger is in the nearside rear belt fastened seat not over spilling and no luggage on the centre and offside rear seat. I can only make the other two go out by fastening the other two. There is no bleeping they just stay on. However sometimes they go out after a minute or two of moving off. I also manged to make them go out by opening my passenger door. The manual does not go in to enough detail as to the operation sequence.

If this one passenger puts some bags, the system thinks there's someone sitting too. Fastening seat belt would help :) But it's lame to fasten seat belt for a bag, right? :D So when you start driving, just lift the bag up briefly and the lights should go out.
