Paid £250 from DVLA
Spotted a 10 plate that almost spells surname. Very happy

In Germany we are stuck with the first part of the registration plate (town name) but after that, if you are lucky you can find one with your initials plus a date of your choice. No way nearly as expensive as the UK :)

Well...... Here....... Vicroads put their grubby little hands out to take everyone's money and will cater to pretty much anything - for a price

create a plate

I took another cheaper option and chose these as thought would look better on my car than the general issue which you can see on the preceeding link

In the end the dealer threw them in at no charge anyway :)

Done the same for my wife's birthday last year spied the plate on DVLA site
and got my eldest stepson to buy it for her 50th birthday
She's over the moon with it.
She kept her last name when we got got married and the plate spells out her 1st Initial and last name
2nd car it's been on now
But have to say it looks better on the CHR
£600 from DVLA all costs included
Been offered a similar one since from them at £3000 so not a bad investment I think
