Hi All, Just fitted this magnetic phone holder in car. Routed a charger cable from centre console USB down outside and under console trim and up under steering wheel. Think it suits car and looks good. At a good price online!

Looks neat but I'd be concerned about the strength of the vent & the fact the airflow is blocked / affected.

When I used the centre console USB socket although it provided power it was not enough to charge my phone.

Sorry, should have said powered from a USB adapter from 12 volt in centre console cubby.

Do you need a special case to use it?
I wouldn't put my mobile so close to the window. It's easy for someone to steal it with the window open.

Metal plate attaches inside any cover. Had this type of mount in same position in Mr2 with top down and no problems with phone being stolen.

Just installed an iPad mount....
It s a bit wobbly while driving ...but still have to fix it properly once I found the right position...
