The stealers have offered to do Gard-X treatment(paintwork/upholstery) but want £295 for the pleasure.

Has anybody had the paintwork protected/treated ??

There are a couple of car detailers in my area, is there better products on the market ??

Any advice gratefully recieved ??

get a proper detailer to do it you will get a much better job

Never bothered with it on any of my eight new cars. Waste of money. Its a similar situation when you buy a new TV they try and get you to buy a £75 HDMI lead

I had it on my previous car and not on this. No noticable difference for me. One disadvantage I found with the paint protection that they dont tell you about is that every little scratch/scuff shows and T-cut does not work on it.

Did a deal with my dealer and had in and out done. Not sure final figure but the the paint prot is brilliant

Out car is parked under a tree which drops syrup on it daily. So cleaning is easier and if it rains it pretty much self cleans. Not to polished standard but definitely helps
