According to a report on Carscoops and a Toyota press release, Toyota is recalling around 28,600 2018 Toyota C-HRs for a faulty electronic parking brake. Toyota is also recalling nearly 39,900 2012-2015 PHEV Prius models for a fuse that may malfunction during driving resulting in a loss of power.

Toyota's press release describes the issues involving the C-HR:

In the involved C-HR vehicles, there is a possibility that the electronic parking brake (EPB) may not operate properly. This could cause the parking brake to not disengage after it is applied or prevent it from being applied. If the electronic parking brake cannot be applied, this could result in a potential noncompliance with a federal safety standard.

The recall is also officially out in Japan impacting about 20,000 vehicles all gasoline models only.

I saw the Japanese link that you posted. It does mention NGX50 which is the code name for the 1.2T engine. I guess this means the hybrid model (ZYX10) is not affected by this?
That's correct. Hybrid models ZYX10 are not affected by this recall at least in Japan (I assume Australia too).

Is this recall for all NGX50 1.2T engines ? In Europe. I dont see anything in toyota-tech.eu, is this website official ? Or is based on owners complains ? Cz i see a lot of other serious problems (like coat paint, sun visor arm, front radar, water pump, etc) but dealer keeps silent. Im sure some dealers will pretend that they know nothing for tsbs or recalls to have less work to do.

Update: probably the recall for parking brake is this: 17SMD-114 Skid Control ECU. From 14/11 and still no email or call from dealer.

Got the plastic cap today for the EPB.
System of Toyota was checked for other recalls but for my C-HR only the cap and the sticker for the manual.

Die Rückrufaktion zur Parkbremse des C-HR betrifft lediglich die 1.2 Turbo Variante, bei der bei einigen Fahrzeugen ein Update auf das entsprechende Steuergerät aufgespielt werden muss.

Got my recall letter this morning.
Booked in Tomorrow afternoon - while I wait.
The brake will be reprogrammed and not a big job but is important that it is done so hence the quick booking.
It also says a console upper cover caution label.
It looks like a visit to the main dealer for a few things to be done.
Better doing them at once rather than different visits.

Same letter for me Craig.

They are saying it's a while you wait job but must be booked in. I phoned up the recall centre, 3 outstanding jobs on mine.

1. Skid Control ECU Reprogramming
2. Console Upper Cover Caution Label
3. Console Upper Cover ( see pic below)

Would have thought yours is the same Craig.
