Just made myself a member on here.
I have sorted a deal on a blue dynamic 12T manual.
I went in yesterday with My immaculate Celica T sport 2005 and had a test drive in the GT86 but got out totally underwhelmed.
I immediately reverted back to my original idea of trading in my 11 year old RAV4 after seeing the blue dynamic - but have been folloeing this forum for ages.
I have a test drive on Sunday and expect to order it.
I said I was concerned about the cracked windscreens and the dealer who I have bought from many times and had cars serviced said it is now sorted on new cars. He had recently had two week delays on two customers cars because of the slight hold up as the problem is solved and time is being caught up. He assured me they are OK now - although they have always been very good fixing problems over the years.
I decided I am not holding back for I don't know how long till it is clear it is solved. How long would you wait.
ATEOTD this is Toyota and I expect them to solve it quickly.

Looking forward to Sunday and he says they have a blue one that I can have in one month.
Only problem with this is my spare set of alloys with my RAV4 with winters on won't go on it.
The studs and pattern are all the same but they don't have the electronic deflation valve so there would always be a warning on the dash.
He didn't know if that could be fixed but said he doubted it. Shame as they are fantastic in snow or ice.

Welcome!

With new valves you could use the RAV4 alloys. Be sure to check the offset.
Some wheels of RAV4 have offset 35 and so going to stick out too much.

The offset on the RAV4 is 39-45
The offset on the CHr is 45-50

The CHr wheels are 18" and the RAV4 are 17 but I assume the they are still the same diamater and would fit as the icon comes with 17"

Does anyone know if the offset would still be OK as both wheels do have the 45mm figure.
I will look into having the TPMS valves fitted if they are fine.

Thanks for any advice.
Craig.

What is the width of your RAV4 wheels? C-HR comes with very small wheels.. 6,5J for 17" and 7J for 18" wheels.
Wider wheels will fit as long as your offset is above 40

Thanks DutCHR.
Just checked on an alloy wheel manufacturers site and they stated 7J for my RAV4 2006 so it looks like they should fit with the 39-45 offset.
I will now see how I can get the TPCS valves fit either by Toyota garage or a tyre fitting specialist.
The reason I am keen to sort this is I work in a hilly part and have two false hips so I can't be caught out miles from home in two inches of snow if I have a set of excellent Vredstein winters sitting there doing nothing.

Thanks for the advice.
