I have a 2019 C-HR.
From my use i have seen 3 ways to read the MPG,all show different.
When i turn car off the the cehtral screen in dial cluster shows a MPG.
If i use the menual keys on the steering wheel and scroll through settings ,one shows a MPG
Lastly if i use the "car" option on the main display a huge bar graph comes up with loads of details MPH being one
The above 3 all show differing MPG which is correct for average MPG or MPG for that last journey?

When you switch off it shows the mpg for just that journey. The mpg shown in the steering wheel menus varies according to settings, I have mine set to show mpg since last time I filled the tank with petrol. The “car” display I largely ignore, but I think it is mpg since last time you zeroed it.
