I didn't think it had mirrorlink capability?
Page 250 in the navi manual.
I will try tonight
I am sad as my phone doesn't support it :( Sad Panda.
I will try it tonight as well, Since updating to Nougat (S6 Edge) I now have a switch to turn it on
Connected my phone to the car, turned mirrorlink on, phone said it was connected to the car via mirrorlink, but nothing showed up on the car, maybe needs further investigation
same here s7 edge , phone was saying yes but nothing on screen , i did notice that the only certified mirrorlink software that i have on the phone was called Carmodestub issued by volkswagen ,very confused as i have never own a vw, not given up but will have to have a look at the weekend
i notice in the video he uses an lg mirrordrive app, have download that one and one from Samsung called sidesync which i am hoping will be app that makes the connection,so if someone wants to try these out before the weekend and let us know the results ,would be much appreciated
Tested and works with lg mirrordrive app on s7 edge but very buggy
Is this only available on the Dynamic? I can't find any option on my system for mirror link what so ever.
Its in the navi manual so may be across the whole range ,will check later
I couldn't see any options in the car either
In the manual I see options like mirrorlink, email, Google search, Frequent Auto which does not exist on my car or Traffic which doesn't work.
I'm still waiting for an answer why voice recognition doesn't work, which I paid for.
WTF Toyota?
After 80 pages thread (italian forum) what i know (and i tested) about MirrorLink:

1) You need a certified phone (check it on MirrorLink site)
2) You need certified apps (i have Sygic car Navigation, Rockscout that is a sort of superapp for Vanilla Music, Voice infos (not tested yet), Spotify ecc)

Once you satisfied this requirements you have to connect the phone to the usb port and then (when the screen of the phone turn black) double click on the bottom right button of your Toyota Touch 2. There you see the apps that you can use. If you launch 2 apps (vanilla music to listen music from your phone and sygic for navigation) the system will be very slow but still works.
Thanks its-A-me

Hi all,
I found some app called "drive link"
Would only work with Samsung galaxy 3?
Can't test it yet cause still waiting for my Chr that should be here second half of June?
I tried sygic on my s6 but it crashes constantly.

I might try one of these. Lets you play videos too and has three android apps installed like google maps.
