Hello All,
Very happy with my Black Beast Excell Hybrid , Great to drive a real head turner as all CHR'S are, But I have one major gripe MPG. I am 61yr's young I do not drive the car hard far from it in rural Pembrokeshire West Wales.
I can fill my dream motor with fuel and on the dash it reads 516 miles until next fill I have a quarter of a tank left and miles done plus the miles left is 440. I have it in normal drive. Can't be right can it.
My Auris Hybrid ran a lot better as it may have been 500 miles on a full tank, Driving as I do it went up to about 540ish.In summer granted. But the minimal was the 500.
Maybe I am missing something but this is really pxxxing me off.
Many thanks for any input. Car goes for a tank, puddle light check on Friday. I shall be having a WORD or many.
Ta MICKO.

Its always optimistic on the miles left. I get about 57mpg from mine (so a tank does x miles - too late for such sums now!!). The mpg it measures is always about 3 mpg optimistic too. But fairly consistently so.
You are not losing mpg, it is just being too optimistic in its prediction. Its best to measure mpg from top-up to top-up.
