Bulb type is 9012 or HIR2.

It is your decision to make between HID and LED. I did some research and found out that HID kits specially those with 55W have a better light output than LED. Personally I went for a 4500K LED kit as i had HID in previous cars and wanted to try LEDs. Make sure you choose the colour temperature that suits your preference over style/visibility.

If you are looking for a quality HID kit and are prepared to spend quite a lot take a look at this Japanese kit:
