Just picked up an answerphone message to say my C-HR is at the dealership.

Pity but I'm gonna wait the month, and have it registered as a Sept 17 car.

Never mind something to look forward to, for the next 30 days. Let's hope it flies by...

I'm surprised your dealer allows that. Mine would not let me wait from end Jan to Mar1 for a17 plate.
It does not really make much difference in the longrun though.

Told them when I ordered it, I didn't want it till then. I can't help it if they've got it too early.

I would much rather have a 17 then a 67 it looks messy on the plate and does it really make that much difference to its future value, about £500 at a guess. I went for a personal reg that wasn't date specific anyway.

I'm putting a personal plate straight on it anyway. So 67 won't look messy till I sell it on. I don't know what future price difference it will make, but it can only help.

If I was looking to order now I'd be looking for a September delivery on the new plate.
