Is your C-HR a magnet???

I ask the question because mine certainly is. With the car being new i have become accustomed to parking in the far reaches of any car park whether its supermarket/retail outlet or town car park. Upon my return the car is usually surrounded by at least 3 to 4 other cars even there are plenty of other empty spaces away from my C-HR. Arrhhh annoying.

Any one suffering from this?

I was right at the far corner of tesco. Parked in between 100 empty spaces and a ten year old merc parks right up close and neeeearly hits my door as he was a big lad. Why? Lol

Of course the hybrid system takes so long to start up he was wrestling with his door and stumbling around before i manged to get my engine fired.

Ha, I do the same, park as far away from everyone, then return to find others next to me
Yep Totally. Had a go at a lady the other day. Tesco car park. Parked far end 50 60 empty spaces around me. Come back to my car to find a woman TRYING to reversing into the space next to me. Badly. She didn't even leave enough room for me to get into my car!!!!

I politely tapped on her window and asked if she was blind and to move her car

My nan, who IS blind, says she could drive better than she could.

Not sure what it is that you are doing - but I press the button, two seconds later after the beep put it in gear and off I go. I would say it is as quick, if not quicker, than any "conventional" car.
Tbf i haven't had an auto before so did muck up the exacts needed. So after forgetting to press the brake once i had to cycle through an extra start option. Then i didn't have my seat belt on so it had a paddy and wouldn't release hand brake.

Too many gadgets to contend with when im used to jamming it in gear cranking the engine while i release the clutch.

I've seen other people moan about it too so just thought it was to be expected when your booting up the enterprise worth of computers. Maybe i will set up a top gear style race with a manual lol

Absolutely. Quickest car I have ever had to start. If you don't do things in the right order and forget to press the brake before the button is only two extra presses to go back to where you were. I think it's very intuitive.

Anyhow it does seem like our cars are monkey magnets.
Seemed to be a magnet to the idiot behind me on the M3 today. 3ft away at 60+mph.
It definitely draws attention in car parks and traffic queues. Unfortunately for me so of the attention I have been getting has been from middle aged men lol
oh yeah im also getting people 3 feet from my bumper when I didnt used to. But I did have a big dirty black rav4 before. No one gave me crap in that ever.
Worst one I had was someone pull up really close behind me then proceed to take a selfie (handheld phone laws totally disregarded) and yes we were moving.
Any new car I've had has had the same attraction to beaten up old jalopies, even when I make the effort of parking as far away as possible from other parked cars :(

Usually beaten up people carriers where the children throw the doors open with vigour
Top tip that I always use, try and park between two newish expensive cars. Never had a dent :D
Tried that, one of them leaves and a battered old pile of pooh's there when I return :(
