I've had my C-HR for about three weeks now. It has the Touch 2 with Go fancy system.

At first, the iPhone worked fine plugged into the USB socket and I could play music. Now, it refuses to do so and I cannot see any music at all. I suspect the trouble started when i started using Waze for navigation. I noted that if I used the Waze setting for 'play as bluetooth telephone call' it hung the connection and wouldn't drop back to audio.

I have reset my iPhone and generally played around with the car system but just cannot get any music be visible or play. However, telephone calls work fine through the system.

Can anyone help!

Look at your Bluetooth settings...
You can connect more phones... one like for playing music the other just for calls and msg s.
If just one iPhone or other smartphone connected...
Maybe disconnect for music... So it Will Play as iPod
Hope I Made any sence ...
Or just disconnect the iPhone and start from scratch...

Tried again today. Thus time I tried a new cable and my wife's iPhone with the same result. So it's definitely the Toyota system. Is there a way to restore to factory settings?

Will try disconnecting Bluetooth and then trying again

Have reset everything I can with then same result. It won't play music over USB or Bluetooth (but the phone works over Bluetooth). Bluetooth music just says "Loading"

Have you recently updated your phone to IOS 11?
Seems to be a problem playing music through BT.

Good spot. Interestingly, my phone had an update last night and is now 11.2.2. I've been out of the car for a few days due illness but I'll go and test it again now. I'll also do the full reset thing as well if that doesn't work.

Nope, none of that worked. All my music is transferred from the computer so I have just downloaded a single song to see if that unblocks it, as someone suggested.

Hi I have a similar problem, I can connect my iPhone through Bluetooth but as soon as I plug my phone in to charge the Bluetooth cuts off??

Have now tested with an iPhone running iOS10, one running iOS11 and an Android. All give the same result so I'm going to get Toyota to have a look.

And the answer is...there is a bug in the software. But had to take it to Toyota for the software to be updated.

Could have done it yourself as the updates and patches are in the latest map update

I have absolutely the same problem.
Can I update the software or reset it by my self?
