not yet but they are very weak
Here in the Netherlands the horn must have a single constant frequency. Otherwise it's illegal and won't pass the periodical checkups.

That is the Law.

A car must be provided with at least one audible warning device,
which consists of a well-functioning horn with a fixed pitch.
An assembly of horns operating at the same time is considered to be a horn.
Multi-tone horns are prohibited
Again cross wires on language. (haha get it?) The original post referring to Dual Horns simply mean two (or more) horns operating at the same time which is exactly what we are talking about.

We are not talking about making tunes :) That's the reason I asked why because the previous post made it sound like the law there was banning the use of more than one horn.

I totally agree with you felixis. The horn is very underwhelming and was really surprised when I used it for the first time.
Despite it's very oddly chosen high pitch it is also pretty quiet in my opinion. Maybe we need to pinch one of those train horns!
I referred to my Toyota dealers and they said that they are is more than happy to make the horn installation for me.

Since Toyota dealer does not have these horns in his disposal, I bought a set of FIAMM 80S horns (2 horns, 1 relay, 2 metal fittings, and full instructions leaflet in a box) for app. 15 US$ and gave it to the dealer's garage technician.
He had to remove the front bumper, (See http://www.toyota-tech.eu/ Accessory Installation manuals), and found especially made pre-drilled and threaded holes, in the upper cross beam: - 2 on left side, and 1 on the right.
Than the removal of the old horn, and the rest of the installation was very easy and precise.
The total dealer's fee was app. 62 US$.

Bear in mind that all this operation was dealer approved, written in the car log, And made under full manufacturer warranty!

The results are great! Highly Recommended!

LIKE BUTTON
Just got back from my local dealer about another issue and I mentioned to them that the horn sounds pathetic, they laughed and agreed then offered to fit a duel horn system for me at a cost of 30 Euros :D

So just waiting for the phone call for an appointment and bingo, pathetic horn will be a thing of the past.

I would have done it myself but I like the idea that the dealer is going it as it then won't damage the warranty.
Wise Decision! :D

I hope that someone at Toyota C-HR assembly line, read this forum, and will equip the next production batch with descent horns... .
Production lines are run by accountants...so I'd not hold my breath!
