Hybrid management settings

Does anyone know whether Toyota may, at the request of the owner, set the C-HR hybrid to drive more like a Prius, and not to go to high revs at every touch of the accelerator pedal. It's really disturbing.

Don't think possible as am only aware of only hypercars (costing 10 x the price) that can be set up in such a bespoke fashion.

Ask your dealer?

I've not really noticed the high revs thing and mines set to 'Eco' but then I've a very light right foot :)
your going to have to learn to drive it with a light foot ;)
Changing driving mode to ECO also helps because the system tries to maintain lowest possible RPMs of the engine at any given time. Having a full battery also keeps them down, but only if you are gentle with the accelerator and always keep the power meter in the green zone.
I think ive learnt the point it decides to really rev and keep it under that for daily driving. Ive also noticed the motor is getting stronger after the first 100 miles and the regen when I lift off has increased since it was new.

If I keep it low enough so it only uses electric I can very almost keep up with other traffic in silence...almost ha ha.

Does the amount of regen increase if there is more weight in the car when you lift off. I know the ecu will use the kinetic energy to charge the battery but is it just about the speed of rotation or the momentum also?
Speed only. For more intensive regen use the brake pedal - it also can be felt whether the car slows only by regen or also uses the friction brakes which are also audible.
Like Leggera I've noticed that the battery lasts longer than when it was first purchased, have now done 800 miles and if the battery has half charge I can get down to my local Supermarket and back on EV alone....round trip is 1.5 miles.

When new the battery would run out reversing off my drive...but that's the case with any rechargeable device as they take a few charges to reach max.
Have to agree on the battery lasting longer after a few miles. I'm up to about 400 mile on the ODO now and I managed to drive 1.8 miles on pure EV yesterday. The next fill-up's MPG should be interesting.
My longest record so far is 5.9 km (3.66mi) in EV mode alone. Fully charged battery with all bars green until the engine kicked in at 2 bars. With standard charge with 2 white bars my record is 5.1km (3.17mi).

How do you get all bars green?
I thought the computer didn't allow the battery to go to maximum charge, only 80% or so?
All of you saying managed to drive more after a few hundred miles, could it be because of the weather getting warmer? :)

If you get to 80% and then drive downhill with drag it will go above 80%.

That is a fair question to ask but temperature has been pretty consistent since I got mine.
