So this week I got to go to the Cenex Low Carbon Vehicle event where Toyota were one of the exhibitors including sending out people in the C-HR on the banked test track which was great fun.

Whilst chatting with them one of the drivers let slip they were expecting a new performance model and that the Plug-In Hybrid version should be in concept at the Frankfurt show. Couldn't get any more info than that but sounds interesting.

sounds interesting ,wonder what the performance model will be 2ltr turbo something with 200+bhp would be nice ,would think about getting another one if they did

2 Ltr seems likely as the engine is already out there - if they could couple it with a Hybrid system for a bit of KERS that could be very cool.
